Class Overview

This page will give a quick overview of each classes responsibilities within Maladomini. Additionally the class leader for each class is identified. The information here is only the tip of the ice berg in terms of the amount of information you are expected to be aware of regarding your class and role within Maladomini.

Rogues

Class Leader:     Raziell

Responsibilities, Rules, & Required Reading:

The Rogues of Maladomini should be extremely agile, quick in the mind and quick in the body. In order to be an asset to Maladomini you must have quick reflexes, good sense of situational awareness, quick thinking, and be strategic. You must provide more to the raid then just insane amounts of dps; Maladomini Rogues need to be flexible and adaptable to a vast variety of situations.

Rogue rules - Monitor this thread as it will be updated as more information is known about BC.

Rogue Required Reading - Monitor this site as it will be updated as more information is known about BC.

Warlocks

Class Leader:     Vendaron

Responsibilities, Rules, & Required Reading:
The Warlocks of Maladomini are expected to dominate, nothing less will be accepted. We are not a "support" or "utility" class - we are death.... As a raider you are required to have at least 30 shards at the begining of the raid. Shard levels must be maintained at all costs - when the raid hits a bump we have to be able to sustain multiple attempts. All warlocks are expected to prepare well for raids with large stocks of consumables - Super Mana and Super Healing, Protection Pots, Damage Buffing Pots, Damage Buffing Oils, and Damage Buffing Foods... these are not luxuries... these are how we roll. Your dps should be superb, but discipline must be mantained on aggro. Your excecution of CC must be solid. SS and HS should be constantly updated/handed out. There are no required lock builds in Mala, but your build must allow for a high level of performance in a raid enviroment or you will not be raiding for long. We have set a standard of performance which is very high - our guild counts on us.... when half the raid lays smoldering... the locks endure - and KILL.

Always keep yourself up to date with the latest Warlock Rules

Druids

Class Leader:     Tryrdoran

Responsibilities, Rules, & Required Reading:
Maladomini druids must maintain versitility. Druids must be keen to situation at hand, and be able to Heal, Tank and DPS when required. Druids must be able to adapt dynamically to a rapdily changing scenario to save the raid from wipes (Key Combat Rezing, Enervates, Shifting to take over Tanking or Healing or DPSing). We must be on top of their game with healing and raid materials.

Constantly review the Druid Thread for the latest information on druids.

Priests

Class Leader:     Wunderheiler

Responsibilities, Rules, & Required Reading:

Maladomini Priests must be master healers, dispellers, and curers, while simultaneously having brilliant mana management and threat management skills. You must also be completely dynamic in your ability to adapt to unique encounters that might require you to use those less frequently used skills.

Priest rules - Monitor this thread as it will be constantly updated as we learn more and more about the BC End-Game content.

Mages

Class Leader:     Mowan

Responsibilities, Rules, & Required Reading:
Maladomini Mages are expected to produce a high level of DPS, but we also need to sheep and de-curse and NOT pull agro. You need to be ready for raids and have your mats and water ready to go.

Make sure you review the mage rules frequently.

Shamans

Class Leader:     Bloodoath

Responsibilities, Rules, & Required Reading:
Every Shaman is expected to be at the top of his or her game at all time and be ready for any situation that may pop up. Be ready to farm mats till you drop and be able to give it your all when we are picking our bloody faces up from the floor after several wipes. If you are not ready to do this and/or don't have the necessary skill don't bother applying.

Check this thread every week for announcements and read through it top to bottom at least once. I post strats for bosses we have downed but I expect you to do your own research of the ones coming up.

Warriors

Class Leader:     Zhakar

Responsibilities, Rules, & Required Reading:
Maladomini Warriors are broken down into two roles: tanking and dps. The first is tanking. These warriors are expected to gain aggro quickly, hold on to it, and mitigate damage like crazy! Second is dps. DPS warriors have to manage aggro while doing as much DPS as possible. All warriors need to carry a shield because all will be called upon to tank when needed.

Always keep up to date with the Warrior Thread.

Hunters

Class Leader:     Interim - Quarmal     Out of the Country - Durota

Responsibilities, Rules, & Required Reading:
Hunters must dominate the battlefield by controling the terms of engagement, through the use of careful pulls, effective traps and tenacious pets. A good hunter will have intimate knowledge of the enemy and the best ways to engage them.

"First comes smiles, then lies. Shooting is last."

Paladins

Class Leader:     Alcindor (the rogue formerly known as Ace)

Responsibilities, Rules, & Required Reading:
Healing, Tanking, and well... That's it for now. We don't need any crazy DPS Paladins.
